Has anyone done a quattro conversion to an audi cabriolet?

2 confirmed. Audi built one in 97 for the owner of a local Denver Porsche/Audi dealership...
Painted deep midnight plum pearl effect with white leather and plum siping interior. The "owner" of this dealership is also the owner of the Miami Dolphins... I wont even attempt to spell his (greek?) name.
I don't know if it was a "one-off" or if several were built for high volume dealers and other "Friends of Ferdinand."

Actually no, the CQ doesn't have all the extra chassis bracing that the Cabrio does
The Cabrio is based on the FWD Coupe chassis, but has been updated slightly, like I said a lot of extra bracing. The ideal thing would be to get CQ floor pans and "transmission tunnel" sheet metal, along with the rear subframe, suspension etc. If that can't be found easily (wrecked CQ), a B3q sedan MAY be able to be substituted??

where is the extra bracing?
I've looked under and in my car and nothing looks out of the ordinary. I guess it wouldn't without another car to look at for comparison. The extra bracing couldn't be added to the CQ?
