I don't have a Bentley. How the hell do you get the air filter out of the 90 4 cylinder?

Default Did this on a 2.3L SOHC 5cylinder 90 but is practically the same. PITA

What I did and found easiest instead of taking off the whole CIS System(which is on top of the air panel) is to just take the clips off the airbox and then pry it open just enough to slide the panel air filter in and out. I hold no responsibility if you break anything but i did it this way when i did my k&n panel filter. No ill effects. Heres a picture to make it easier to understand. I'm talking about part #17 when i speak of clips

if you loosen both ends of the rubber intake boot, it makes it easier too!

Default To pull the clamps back into position...

I've found it easier to use the box end of a wrench to pull the clamps back into position after you get the filter cover back on.

Default Translated an German Manual...

I hopeu can understand it, im still learning english, but i think its quite easy to understand...

Step1:
Loosen the Lug of the suction hose at the lamp cover.

Step2:
Press the two retaining slots of the lamp cover to the rear and take the cover off upward.

Step3:
Remove right part of the lamp cover after solving two cross-notched screws

Step4:
Remove "sucking in"scoop over the metering unit

Step5:
Solve five holding clip surrounding the air cleaner housing

Step6:
Pull the metering unit including the Air Filter Housing upper section upward.

Step7:
Take out the Air Filter...
P.S.: If u want to change the Air Filter, don`t Forget to clean the Air Filter Housing with warm Water only!!!
