Default Just bought a '95 90q, have some questions

I just bought a 1995 90 quattro sport today, and i'm picking it up tomorrow, but I have a few questions about it if anyone can help:

1. It's missing the rear speakers, what size fits in there?
2. Does it have the option of hooking a VAG COM up to it?
3. Can i just stick an aftermarket headunit in it, or does audi have some security against that?
4. looking for an aftermarket grill, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks all.

Default about the speaker size...

I can only find posts that refer to the rear speakers in the doors, and not the rear speakers under the rear windshield...

Default Speakers: 5.25" driver/1" tweeter. Yes you can VAG-COM any '93-'95 90. Yes you can use...

...an aftermarket deck. There are various grills available. You can get some cheaper ones from www.importvision.com

Default There are no stock speakers in the rear deck of the car...

...if you have holes, someone probably cut them in. Stock is 4" in the dash and 5.25" in the doors with a 1" tweeter.

Fill 'em with some speakers, or pick up a un-modified, used rear deck from a yard?

Default hey were probably cut for 6X9's. I did this to mine

I would have had the heart to either keep the speakers in there or buy some cheapies to sell it in though.

Check my picture poster for more pix
