leaking gas at union

Was the fuel rail only involved in the recall or the lines too?
It seems that where the crimp is (and it seems longer then the other one) its a bit wet. I can giggle it and see just a touch of gas and this is with the car not running.
The line looks solid so replacing, I am not sure how involved that might be.
When I took my airbox off to check my filter I got a strong whiff of gas so I must have nudged that line.
This certainly worries me but its not just a loose m/f end but the crimp itself it seems.
thoughts?

I still have the paperwork actually
I just did not see anything about the actual lines. It does not leak unless disturbed, giggled and its not a huge amount but a drip but still any gas leaking is not good.
Chances are if it was leaking all this time just a bit the heat just evaporated it.

not sure
anybody that has done the VP gasket had to break those unions, they might have noticed if one existed.
I broke out the line wrenches and did give it just a bit but it was pretty damn tight to begin with. It looks more as if time and vibration might have worn it out giving it more play then it should have.

2X 17mm wrenches, put a rag under to catch gas and open her up, then have a look.
they will be tight until they break Free then can be undone by hand. Just make sure 1 17mm wrench is holding the other nut when you put some muscle on it so you do not break anything.

I hear that
more often then not when you go to fix something you break something else.
You'll see what I mean in my last thread.
Damn brittle plastic....
