Default the cable wasn't set correctly

need a long flat head screwdriver and a flashlight.

twist the locks located above the headlights from underneath the car.

Default easier to do it with the car jacked a bit and

take off the bumper if you've never done it before.

Hey.

the tab is broken and we can get that squared away this weekend if you have time.. Me and infernocl will be at my garage this weekend if you want to meet us and fix the deal with your cable. The tab can not be purchased anywhere else, only as part of the assembly, but you can have mine for free..... as far as opening up the hood, no problem.. We might have to smash a headlight out or rip your grill off but we'll get to it.. Worst case scenario is that we'll have to pry open your hood with a long crow bar, or pull it off with a winch.

call me this week. 510 1111

Default Re: whoaa..no smash or pry needed.

..sounds like inferno has been there before; you can get at the two releases through the grill and over/around the headlight housings. With a push to the right they should both pop open easilly. Replacing the cable isn't too mush of a headache, either.
To keep the cable in good condition, lube the catches and squirt a little bit of lube under the cable sheath. Preventive maintinance helps keep the wallet heavy.

Default GUYS. Totally kidding on my post. I broke the quat2nv's hood release while we were

changing the oil... The release on the passenger side is good, although the driver side release is not set properly. I am aware on how to pop the hood without ripping it off... lol
