I have a 97 Cabriolet with a three button remote and can't find programming instructions please help!!! The remote is a MZ24108194

The Cabriolet should have two buttons as there is no trunk release..however it should not matter. Be sure the batteries are in good shape.

Remote transmitter coding procedure
* Switch ignition on (using a second separate key)
* Lock vehicle from outside manually using the key to be coded via driver-side door lock.
* Press "unlock" button within 5 seconds several times slowly.
* Every press of the button is confirmed by the emergency flashers and the anti-theft system horn. Wait 5 seconds.
* Now press "unlock" button one more time (vehicle unlocks).
* Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
* Check function of new transmitter.
