Subaru bumper 90% done, good enough for now.

Well, after 1yr 3mos, I finally figured out a way to at least get that subaru outback bumper on there and looking decent. Much cutting, foaming, fiberglassing, sanding, and bondo'ing and it's presentable, although far from perfect. It does what I wanted it to do, hold those Hella 500's and have a spot for my intercooler. And it fits okay too. Anyway, the finish is still really rough, lots of scratch marks under the paint from coarse grit sandpaper, the whole thing needs to have glazing putty put all over it and be wet sanded to be perfect. There are also a few areas where the bondo cracked from the bumper flexing as it was installed. I'm going to leave it on the car for a while and hope that the bumper kinda 'takes' to the shape it's held into before I try to do any more filling. And with some higher quality filler. If I still like how this thing looks and fits after it's perfect, I might make a mold of it and do a lighter fiberglass version. Then I'd be able to make more if anyone here was interested.

More pics
