Default Suspension question.

So if made a spacer of some sort and put it between the spring retainer and strut mount I could raise my car a little. I am asking cause i just put H&R's on my coupe and my front tire's rub now, and I also just put on new tires so i dont want to get new ones. Seems like a good idea
to me, what do you guys think?

Default Re: 225-50-16, is usually a bit too wide for lowered suspensions..........

205-55-16, assures no rub.

You can try to modify the suspension to fit, but usually altering the suspension in a manner it wasnt intended, can have mixed results.

Maybe look into getting the fender rolled a slight? ;O)

Default If the suspension isn't stiff enough, 225's will definately rub...

BTDT with the factory suspension. Running the significantly stiffer Vortrag setup eliminated "all" of the rubbing, even with a lower ride height. I'm going stiffer yet, to improve auto-x times, so it shouldn't rub "ever". Also considering squeezing some 245/45-16 V700's under there after the Yokes are too worn. Those, may rub. We'll see. I've already worked on one of the front fenders, to try and get some extra clearance. May have to have the fenders rolled/pulled a bit.
