is there a wrong way/correct way cv joint parts are oriented-1994 90?

Default is there a wrong way/correct way cv joint parts are oriented-1994 90?
Stupid me tried let my outer cv joinmt come aprt without realizing the parts have differences on each side. Basicall there is the main joint housing, then a collar that moves within the housing. The two openings of the collar are different in size. then there is a star that moves within the collar that is different on both side. then there are the *****. I will try to attach some pics to show what i mean.

Default This is the collar insisde the housing with the big opening
