warning light question

warning light question
I have a 1993 Model 90, and after about a half-hour of driving, I've started to get a yellow-orange warning light icon on my dash that says "Check," but I can't find the icon in my manual. The icon is kind of oblong with a tiny lightning bolt in the middle of it. Is this the engine warning light and if so, are there some likely causes that I could check myself? Thanks for any help!

The light you're mentioning is the check-engine light...9 times out of 10 if it comes on...
...while you're driving, it is something emissions related. Only way to know for sure is to have someone hook up a diagnostic computer to it and to pull the error code which is generating the light. The dealer can do this (will probably cost you $$), some independant shops can, or if you're lucky, perhaps someone on here that is local to you can do it for you.
