RPM problems
Hello, i recently bought a 2012 Audi A1, 1.6TDI engine with 66Kw. It had a fuel pressure problem which i fixed pretty easily (someone connecter fuel lines the wrong way on the LPFP). Everything was perfect, then i noticed that my cars RPMS sometimes went above 1000, something like 1050 to be precise. I thought it was just trying to do a regen, but it started happening more and more ofter. I work at a car shop so i launched a regen manually thinking it would help. It cleaned out maybe like 20g of soot. But it didnt help. I still have the problem and it drives me crazy. There are no DTC’s. Also some things worth mentioning, when the RPMS are high the fuel consumption increases ALOT. And also, all the lights start flickering a little bit, as well as the start stop system stops working.
So i really need help at this point, nothing makes sense to me. Maybe i should do a full DPF delete?
