What are some opinions on the looks of a blacked out grille on a 2009 Lava Grey Pearl A3? I'm not too sure if it looks out of place or not. Same with black rims. No doubt they look good on a black A3 but what about the Lava? Any pictures out there?

I think the Lava/Meteor Grey A3s lend themselves to a full blackout treatment even more so than the Black ones! Go for it - I plan on getting black machined wheels and a full window tint job on my Lava A3. Haven't looked into replacing the shiny grille, but now that you put it in my head, I'll have to explore that option further.
