Audi RS3 Drive System Malfunction P0000
So, I have been running a JB4 for over a week, and loved every second of it. Everything worked great until I tried to put on an IE intake. I have a 2019, so the DV valve is not compatible. Many people have reported they just dump to atmosphere, and since our cars use a MAP sensor, this seemed logical; however, in looking at the new DV piping, the second hole had vacuum. Very baffling, as the larger hole has no vacuum (because it is basically a blow off valve yeah?). I drove the car for maybe 10 miles like that and decided I wasn't comfortable driving with either of those holes not in their normal position, so I put the car back to stock intake. I tightened everything up, but I must have misplaced the gasket on the smaller hole on the DV because i heard it leaking. Well, I got it all tightened up and took it for a drive. I babied it at first but wanted to make sure everything was working well. 2nd gear and 3rd gear pulls were fine. She was back to normal. Then I hit 4th. I was going WOT and at about 6k RPMs I get my dash lighting up saying "Drive System Malfunction" Well ****. Its in limp mode. I pull over and check the JB4 app for codes: P0000 No information. Restart the car, the light is gone. I figured it was just an anamoly, but I dialed back the boost anyway just in case. Was driving around, it felt great, did another pull. Same thing in 4th, in pretty much the same spot. I read some thread saying that Audi is using P0000 to determine ECU changes; however JB4 doesn't flash the ECU, and it didnt do that before the intake I put on. I rechecked all the connections for the intake, everything is on correctly. Not sure what to do, and don't wanna run to the dealership first thing just in case I may get flagged. Halp.
