Hi All, have a 2000 model A3 1.8 litre and the cluster keeps flickering on and off. Any good ideas?

Did not know they had A3's in 2000.

I had a similiar problem with my car radio. When the weather got warm the radio would flicker off and on.

I videoed it and showed it to Audi service. It turned out to something wrong in the steering column area. Some ingnition electronic components, or something. Whether this is related to what your experiencing I could not say.

I have a 2008 A3. They fixed it last year. Have not seen the problem again

Have fixed it. Sprayed electrical spray in the fuse area and it works perfectly now.

what brand electrical spray did you use? i'm having issues with my a8 with the cluster going on and off
