Not sure where you live but 3d bodyworks on boot rood out in Exton area does awesome work. Fixed my vr6 gti a few years ago to better than before condition.

My Orient Blue Bimmer has more blue/black in it and when it need some slight paint
repair I went to the same people I've always gone to. Sounds like you have a trusted paint shop which means everything when it comes to color and metalic flake matching.
