Mod how much? It seems that DSG cars are trickier to modulate when launching, which can mean
more wheel spin even when stock. Add more power, and getting a proper mechanical limited slip becomes very important. I do not know if any of the tuners offer a limited slip for DSG cars. They do for manuals.

So it doesn't auto blip the throttle?
I am thinking about getting a DSG A3, but haven't test driven one. I was wondering about the throttle blipping. So the car doesn't do anything when down shifting? I dream about the way the ferrari's do it and the way it sounds.

A mistake people may be making is that they let off on the gas pedal during shifts.
During my test drives, the salesman specifically mentioned don't let off the gas while sifting; it most likely confuses the unit controlling the shifts.
