question re- open sky roof
sup guys. i checked out an a3 at the dealer yesterday and was testing out the opensky roof switch. first, i was surprised that its just a normal switch, unlike most other audi's i've seen...
questions- how does the switch work? Neither of the two cars I tried out seemed to have one-touch for open or close? Also, the switch seems to tilt the roof first before opening it, is this normal?
The sales woman told me the rear glass roof tilts also, is this correct?
Also, even if you keep your hand on the switch, it kind of stopped in the middle, then would continue to open up the rest of the way - is that normal? thx in advance - i just did a quick search and didn't find anything

That's normal
Lack of one touch open is a pain in the ***.
The "stop points" are the locations where the wind noise is the lowest, so it seams intentional. The "fully open" position is about 75-80% fully open.
Rear window is fixed.

correct. stop points are 1. tilt only, 2. mostly open, 3. maximum open
you can do one touch from 1-2, then again, one touch from 2-3. This applies for opening only. For closing, there is no one touch, it stops whenever you let go.
Rear window doesn't move ever. I will refrain from asking if the saleswoman was blonde, because that is not nice.
