Techie Question...
Does anybody know where the maintenance port (ODB-II type port) is located on new (MY2001) A3s and S3s? I'm talking about the one where you can connect the diagnostics tool from VW/AUDI and view all error codes. In my MY1999 A3 it is hidden behind a plastic cover in the space under the ashtray, but I recently checked my mate's MY2000 A3 and it is not there anymore... Bizarre, heh? I suppose since the centre console was redesigned in MY2001 models, they must have moved that one as well... But where???
