Turbocharger replacement
Started to have a noise coming from the front end when I let off on the gas, almost sounded like air escaping up front from the back pressure, a sort of pffft noise. LOL. Took it to the dealer and they isolated it as comiing from the waste gate area of the turbo. I think that this is part of, or close to the exhaust manifold. The dealer is going to replace the entire turbocharger, under warranty thank God. I just wonder if they would check everything else in the area while they are under there, as they were not 100 % certain that was the problem.BTW the car is a 2006 A3.
