when i was at my dealer like 3 months ago, one of the sales people said that it'd be coming in may, well i thought he was on crack then, and its june and still no a3 2.0Tq so im thinking he was ;-)

anyways, my new car in a few months will either be an A4 or an A3, but only an a3 if its a 2.0T quattro 6spd...so im hoping someone knows if/when one's coming over

I would guess that unless the S3 makes it to the United States, and there is specutlation both ways, then the two liter turbo & Quattro won't be united in the A3 on these shores.

I can see the S3 being a possiblity, but as Aietrie_Patrone said, it is not coming to the US anytime soon.

The only justification I can see for Audi to bring over a 2.0t sportback 6mt quattro is if there is sufficient demand / sales of 2.0t units when the TT is released, coupled with high sales of A3s.

I should ask this question on the first gen TT board. Plenty of people bought the 180 hp front-wheel version before the 225 hp TTQ came out. I wonder how they felt...
