Default Yo. Why is the dealer asking me...........

if I have a rev limiter on the car? They installed the fuel pressure sender (sensor?), that was causing the MIL, and now they claim they are trying to reset parameters, but they can't get the car to go above 4K rpm. any ideas?

Default Time to find a new dealership.

I wonder if the pressure sensor is artificially sending out bad readings leading the ECU to believe that it is undergoing fuel cut . . . who knows. Is this WG again?

Default Now Memphisssssssss..............OK, here's the scoop.........

right after I posted, I had to run. so I'm on the road and they call me back. They had it hooked up to one of the vag's they use. apparently, they have 2 different ones. when they hooked it up to the other one, all was right. I'm on a 500 mile test for oil consumption.
