Accelerator pedal snaps in half while driving to work..
So my accelerator pedal snapped in half while driving to work. Is it fully plastic...
Luckily I was able to still drive with it to the dealer..
They mentioned this is unheard of and they are working with AoA and elevating the issue etc...
Parts are on the way but coming from Canada... So I'll be in a Nano Grey A3 loaner till then.
Holy s*** that's horrible! I'm glad you made it to the dealer okay without incident though. That is unheard of and I'd be interested in knowing how that happened. What a nightmare that would be for Audi if it became widespread.
I second that! Holy hell! Have never seen that before. Definitely glad you're OK. I've experienced jammed throttles before on older cars but nothing like this. Need to dial down the hydraulic pressure in that bionic throttle leg there markN1689. Perhaps AoA will offer you some hush money now to keep this on the down low..........

That's what they said yesterday. But today I got a call and the car was miraculously ready. Seems fine.
