Hey guys, just a little confused. I was reading about the S5 sportback guy who didn't want to wait for his RS3. When the traffic sign recognition topic came up.

The s4/s5 driver assistance package states it:

Driver assistance package

• Adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam assist
• Audi active lane assist
• High beam assistant
• Traffic sign recognition

The rs3 driver assistance package states it:

Driver assistance package

• Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go
• Audi active lane assist
• High beam assistance
• Front radar with camera distance sensor

So am I to assume that these are two different systems? No traffic jam assist or traffic sign recognition on the rs3? Wonder what the official difference is for stop and go vs traffic jam assist?

Great question. My S3 has Driver Assist with:

Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go
Audi active lane assist
High beam assistance
Front radar with camera distance sensor
Pre Sense Front

The RS3 makes no mention of Pre Sense Front. Are we to assume that Driver Assist in the RS3 does not offer Pre Sense Front? Why would Audi have front radar and cameras but no Pre Sense? It seems to me that Audi offers different versions of Driver Assist across different models and different trims/packages. Not sure why Pre Sense would be available on the A3 and S3 but not RS3???
