Coolant Level Low Alert

Update: After two low coolant alerts, added a total of half a liter. Notified dealer at 25K mile service, they pressure tested and yes, my water pump was bad too. Replaced under warranty. I never smelled any coolant. Hope I don't need to get another on my own dime every 25K. If you are getting these alerts, especially if you smell coolant, you need to have them check it out.

Just got coolant low warning light on my 2015 s3 22k Miles. I was on the highway cruising in sport and manual mode and the car temp shot up to about 235C and car alert went off immidiatly telling me to turn off car and check coolant level. Checked my coolant level and it’s sitting slightly below minimum. Called the dealer to schedule an appointment and was told to top it off with water for now until I bring it in next weekend. I’m suspecting there’s a either a leak in the lines or possibly a fail water pump. We’ll see how this goes next weekend.

Water pump bad

While I was there, I also mentioned an issue with the exhaust, a noise from the rear. They take me out to the bay and point at the resonator delete and say that's an aftermarket part lol. I reminded them it's an official Audi part that was installed by them So that may need replacing as well or just re-clamped/welded.

2015 A3 coolant leak
I have a 2015 A3, had it for a around a year and a half, just hit 80k. Recently the “switch off engine, check coolant level” alert appeared, so I checked coolant level and it was really low, checked the coolant lines and couldn't see and visible leaks. Looked at the water pump, and couldn’t see any visible leaks, put the car up on jack stands and took off the under trays (way too complicated), added water. And told my friend to turn on the car and right above the plastic pan, it was just spewing coolant. Put my hand above it too feel where it was coming from but couldn’t see or feel anything besides warm coolant and water running down my arm, it’s been sitting in my drive way for about a week with everything puddled up underneath it. Anyone have any info on this bs problem? Appreciate it. And I’m hoping no ones gonna say head gasket issues

I have a 2013 Audi Q5 3.0. The coolant light illuminated however the engine temperature gauge did not show any change in temperature. The reservoir was 1/2 quart low on coolant. I filled to just above the minimum line. The coolant light is still illuminated. The dealership is 20 miles away. If the engine temperature is not rising, would it be a safe bet to drive the vehicle to the dealer with the coolant light illuminated?
