I placed an order for a 2017 RS3 last weekend and haven't really been told anything about it yet as far as an ETA. They were saying "a couple months" so I'm hoping sometime in June but who knows. They said they're getting like 3 of the 2017 model and 3 of the 2018 later this year. I was the first to place an RS3 order with them.

I managed to get my order finalized back at the end of March and this is what they told me about the delivery times:

The question I have after reading Jono72's thread (https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...ivery-2919751/) is that it lists privacy glass as an option (VW1). My dealer in Canada said that tinting wasn't a factory option - has anyone else in North America ordered theirs with privacy glass?

My date was modified from may to june last friday. From Audi system:
Boat date: june 20th now, port arrival date july 6th, delivery now scheduled mid july instead of mid june...

How are you guys getting these dates? My dealer sent me the Vehicle Detail Overview sheet, but all those dates are blank. Is there a way to look on the Audi website to see if the dates are updated? Or do you have to ask your dealer to check?

My dealer gave me that information after I asked why my quote listed September 30 delivery as opposed to an August delivery originally quoted.

Bigger question for me is: privacy glass in North America, anyone able to add it?

Is that for a 2017 RS3 model? I checked with my dealer last weekend and it's showing that the allocated 2017 model was supposed to be on the ship May 3rd however the system is showing to car on factory hold just like the 2018 models. It did not show a production date for my order.

In the US, this tends to be an after-market thing. Most dealers I've encountered wont even do it, although some of them will make referrals to vendors in town.

I'm assuming his was for a 2018. I also have a 2017 order coming. Mine said ship departure date 4/20, domestic port arrival 5/18, but as of this weekend it sounds like they're all still on hold at the factory. Very annoying.

As soon as your car is allocated to the dealer (not to be confused by car allocation quantities to your dealer by Audi) he's able to have eta's. If dates are blank it's because Audi haven't allocated the car yet to your dealership (even if he got his allocations quantities confirmation).
