My RS3 arrived to San Diego Port -

Daytona Grey / Technology / Dynamic.

Should take a few days to get to dealer.

Only thing I don't like, based on some pictures, are the wheels. May need to put some BBS on or something. ALso, need to tint the windows.

Question - how does front license plate work in US? Is there a tow hook adapter?

Sadly I think you're going to find it's held at port for a bit longer than that. Apparently, there are EPA/CARB approvals we're waiting on before they're released nationwide. The latest note from Audi Regional rep said to expect the car in July timeframe.

I reserved mine in April of 2016 from Audi North Houston. I passed on the 2017 launch and jumped on the first 2018. They are telling me an August delivery. Anybody notice this yet?

That makes it official but I will not believe it until I hear that the first cars have been released from the ports.

Does anyone know the offset of the wheels w dynamic package? Trying to order some rotiform wheels.

I read this on vwvortex... for the staggered setup:
Front: 19x8.5 et46 (stock)
Rear: 19x8.0 et42 (stock)

Well color me confused, I was under the impression none were released yet due to EPA approvals (per Audi employee).. and then this shows up in Illinois....

Well I'd say they got approval and are now being released.

Just called the dealer and apparently it's for an Audi rep, not something for sale...
