hi all got my brand new A3 saloon black edition tfsi October 2017 (67 plate) and today got in car and says oil change in 29 days, miles I have done is 4400, rang poole audi and they said needs changing and cost is £266??? is this right?

My math may be off but if that's about $400 for an oil change run the other way. If you have a decent independent garage that you can use I strongly suspect it's a much better option. Just FYI my DIY oil change costs about $45 with oil and filter and another few bucks to use Carista to reset the inspection reminders.

Unfortunately, Audi service departments in the UK will rip you off for servicing and along with that do not offer Audi Care. Also Audi UK only offer a three year warranty as opposed to 4 years in North America. Take a look at the Audi-Sport.net website and you will be in familiar UK territory and tons of grumbles from Brits on poor servicing and costs. 266 quid is about the norm from dealers for an oil change and a cursory glance at other fluid levels and adjusting tyre pressures and that price is outrageous. Wait till you find out what a three year service costs including haldex servicing. That sum will leave you gasping for air!!
