Mine doesn't have the Matrix LEDs but the lights are still brighter than my previous BMW with Adaptive LEDs, particularly the high beam man when I flash the high beams I can see all the road signs from a distance light up so bright.
Does yours have the Matrix LEDs or just standard LEDs?

BMW has added back the driving performance. Newer models have gotten their Mojo back and when the current 3 and 5 will be replaced, it will be as dynamic as BMWs of yore. BMW offers AWD and I'm willing to bet that almost any AWD system is better than the Haldex system that I had in my S3. To each his own I guess. But I replaced an S3 with a freaking BMW SUV and the SUV is faster, Gets better MPG, Significantly cheaper to insure even though it cost $10k more, has a much nicer exhaust note, the thing even has a tighter turning circle, I even like the ZF trans better than my S3's dual clutch trans.. I was actually in the market for a BMW 540i but after driving that vehicle it reminded me more of a Lexus than a BMW. Then I drove the new X3 M40i and the excitement was there again big time. The SUV also puts a bigger smile on my face than the S3 ever could have.

I didn't think I would like the X4 M40i better, but I did! BMW really knew how to tune that X4. If I had to choose which vehicle to buy at the time, I would've chosen the X4 M40i in a heartbeat.I have yet to test drive an X3 M40i, but I know I'll like it as well. I've always liked the previous generation X3, but felt it needed more power. Now BMW has addressed this need with the X3 M40i.
