I didn't realize the module was a Fortin part. I'm glad its working well for you. Does it require a wifi connection to work?

No WiFi is needed. it just needs a cellular signal to work. One click on the app starts the car. It’s easier than the 3 clicks on the key fob for me.

You.. do realize that $30/year is paying for the cellular service module installed in your car then, right? $2.50/mo for any service from a cellphone company is peanuts, and buying a data plan just for your car would usually cost you a hundred dollars or more.
