Thinking about getting 09 S5 from a local dealership. It has V8 4.2 6spd with 125,000 miles. Drove like a dream, fast and fun. Just afraid that this gonna be a money pit for me. The biggest thing I’m scared of is about the timing chain tensioner issues. local mechanic says it’s about 8-9 grand to fix it. Some people said the 3.2 have that problems, and some other said the 4.2 have it.
