I don't know why some of you are surprised! Most sports cars ( ferrari, lambos, Lotus, etc ) they all do have fake tips at end of the exhaust, either wrapped around or far away as seeing in R8 so they attain a far more resonance note when the gas pedal is pressed HARD.. giving a higher and more eloquent sound note, in the Lambo case this would mean waking up every single neighbor in a 3 miles radius.

If you think the 335 is (as you put it) "just simply the best" Why waste your money on an S5??? We both know that people don't spend more money on something that is inferior. Either you really don't believe that it is "just simply the best" or you have no intention on purchasing an S5 in the first place.

Sadly, the faux exhaust tips are becoming the norm for car manufacturers. The R8 (V8 and V10) is the same way, as is the upcoming RS5. The good thing is when we change out our factory exhausts, nobody will ever know!

IMO, MB focuses more on luxury compared to Audi and Bmw, im not trying to diss audi but MB is a lot more luxurious than both. Bmw basically focuses on performance and MB is more luxury and practical yet they can be very good performance wise. Im not too sure about Audi cuz I have only driven MB and Bmw, but Im guessing Audi is like in between? Any thoughts? Im not too sure but im just guessing,
