Audi Evaluation Help!

Audi Evaluation Help!
Hello fellow Audi owners,
I recently bought a 2010 Audi A5 and after less than a year driving it the engine blew.
I now want to sell the vehicle as is with a blown engine.
My question is.... How much would I be able to get for this Audi with a blown engine as is and where would I be able to sell it?
I know it is a horrific situation and I would appreciate all the help.
I live in the DMV area of the United States.
Thank you for the help!

My recommendation is for you to do the following to determine the value of your car since its value will greatly depend on its current condition (aside from the engine).
1. Determine the cost to get the engine fixed or replaced with a used engine. You'll need to deduct this cost from the current market value of a fully operational, similar condition A5.
2. Go to KBB and research the current value of a fully operational car with the same spec and features as your A5. And,
3. Research used A5's on the internet either through CarMax or Craigslist, etc. to determine actual asking prices for 2010 A5's that are similarly equipped as yours.
4. Once you've determined a price for a fully operational A5, deduct the cost of getting the engine to working order to that price. The result will be how much you'll be able to sell your A5 with a blown engine.
I hope my advice above will be helpful to you. Good luck!
