Clear Bra? upon inspection, major dings upfront
I was doing a detail yesterday and noticed that after only 3000+ miles I have a good amount of pebble driven dings in the front bumper (plastic) and one or two on the hook (one fairly deep).
Has anyone else seen this and has anyone installed a clear bra. Seems like the kit will cover the bumpers, first 18" of the hood and the quarter side panels. Unless I hear of some negatives I think I am going to pull the trigger this week.

I'm in the same boat - because the car is relatively low with a wide hood, I'm getting a fair amount of rocks hitting - luckily no dings as yet. I'll be putting a full cover on the car - to cover the entire hood. The only negative with clear bras I see are with darker coloured cars and the 'line' that develops over time if you install a partial bra.

Here are the available kits, which one looks the best?
I am intrigued by the Hood and Fender Kit full kit. Thoughts?<ul><li><a href="http://catalog.frontguard.com/partquery/search">Audi S5 Clear Bra kits</a></li></ul>

Actually, with lighter vehicles(mine being Ibis white) you would notice that line more. Before washing it the other day, I could see the dirt at the edge of the clear bra on the hood.

Re: Clear Bra? upon inspection, major dings upfront
I have been debating this choice too for when my car comes in. I think I will go with the bumper version at a minimum, due to the large frontal area. My dealer offers the 3M Scotchguard product
I have seen their demo Meteor Gray S5 with the partial hood covering and the interface line is pretty noticeable when not absolutely clean, along with a difference in the surface "texture" of the material.
It is a tough call, at least for me.

Hmm.. I'd imagine that there would be a small line shown when the white colour gets a bit dirty - part of the price to pay for a little protection I figure.
On my previous car, I had the hood repainted after a few years due to stone chips.. that didn't work out too bad as the re-paint was cheaper than a clear bra but I'll go the other way and put a complete hood cover on this time. I have an Ice Silver so there would be a small line if I did a partial bra.
