Default LED lights in front

Anyone have their LED lights in front burn out yet? As I walked away from my car today I noticed one of them went out. I'll go to the dealer tomorrow to get it fixed but just wondering if anyone else had this problem yet? car is only 3 months old now. I feel like this might be something that will plague the car forever. Looks absolutely stupid when even one light is out.

Default Is it one LED or is it the whole strip out? I heard about this happening

on another owner's S5 in Europe. Even if one LED goes out, the whole strip has to be replaced.

Default Yup, I have one LED out on the drivers side. Are there seperate power sources...

per led, or one for the whole string?I have heard both!

Default Luckily it was just one light

I will take it to the dealership hopefully this weekend or early next week and i'll find out from them at that time what the deal is. I was under the impression you just needed to change the one light that went out but never really looked into it so we'll see soon enough. glad to hear i'm not the only one at least.

It's probably from LED strip going off when blinker is on. Too much off & on.

Default I doubt its the LED's themselves. More likely a faulty connection.

those things burn forever... but perhaps with the dimming and repeated on/off it does shorten the lifespan down from 100,000 hours or whatever they're rated for...

Mine haven't gone out, If one did its likely i would shut off DRLs through MMI until it was replaced. Or turn my headlights on all the time.

Default You're probably right but LEDs do, occassionally, fail.

From what little I've seen, the individual lights seem to either fail pretty quickly or last forever.
