Default Need help choosing

I have been looking at a 2010 Audi A5 2dr Cpe 2.0L Auto quattro Premium Coupe features a 2.0L L4 DIR DOHC 16V TURB 4cyl Gasoline engine, looking at buying and this will be my first audi, what mods can be done to get this car rippin others apart? and about how much would they cost, and is there any places that can do all the work in Arizona? Thanks for the help, and hopefully, and i was also looking at 370zs and bmw 135is? can this car keep up with them without having to spend a crap load of money? THx

Vivid Racing, vividracing.com, is down there near Phoenix. They have all the Stasis performance A%/S5 add ons. I know nothing about Vivid except they keep popping up when I do my searches.

Search this forum, there is a ton of info.

I would suggest 2003 Audi Cabriolet. Since, it has a far supreme performance compared to the other models you mentioned it here

These days at Audi, even LOOKING at your engine and just THINKING about a performance upgrade will void your warranty.

This is the first Audi I've owned where I've done nothing to the engine and I'm quite happy. The 2.0 has just enough power to keep me happy - and too little to get me into trouble.

My 2¢

Default REMUS USA Response

Cordovser:

REMUS USA Rep' here. We offer a very nice axle back splice on performance Sport Exhaust for the S5. These have the staggered, and angled chrome tips that are 3.3" O.D. each. They are chrome plated and have rolled in edges. A very nice 'finished' look. The rear and front of the s/steel silencers are coated in high heat ceramic paint so from behind they don't scream to the authorities, "Hey look at me, I'm a Race system" but indeed with the reduced back pressure they provide, they should perform like one. Performance wise, we do not have a reliable dyno comparison on this particular car, but based on what we know about "Sports Label" increases on the BMW M3 and other E.E.C. approved cars, you'll likely see from 9 - 14 H.P. increase. And usually (although not in the M3) these increases are found in an R.P.M. range that is more mid - to top end oriented. Typically where you drive the most. This has been REMUS' claim to fame for 20 years; all the efficiency, H.P. and torque benefits of engineered back pressure free flow exhaust, without sounding obnoxious. If you'd like more info. or pricing on this, go ahead and PM me. Also, yes, we would recommend Vivid Racing, in Gilbert, AZ, for installation. Thanks!

Check out GoodSpeed Performance in Scottsdale off Raintree & 101. I have the same car and asked them for their feedback on the same issue. I would suggest the latest APR chip, intercooler & upgraded exhaust to start with to give you the most bang for your buck. Then look at the new K04 turbo from APR & upgraded brakes from stock. I'd suggest stopping by their shop and talking to the guys to get a feel for what you're looking at and pricing.
