Default No factory wheels locks?!? As I was swapping into my snows today, I realized

there were no wheel locks from the factory. My 2000 VW Passat came with wheel locks from the factory. I have been riding around almost a year without that knowledge. That's what I get for assuming. The 'pretty' lug nut covers must have threw me off.

Default Not sure the Passat came with locks from the factory; probably a dealer addition.

Three Audis since 2002; no wheel locks on any of them.

Default The tool pouch in the trunk of the Passat included tire iron, wrench and also

a separate compartment just for the lock key.

Default Audi's dont, VW's do.. Go figure..

We've got all sorts of locks available for stock or aftermarket wheels, even if you're running spacers.

Default Are you serious? it's quite common.

Here's a fun example of what can happen, when all goes wrong.<ul><li><a href="http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/1208/575299_video.html?ref=newsstory">Audi S4 wheels stolen in DC.</a></li></ul>

That is a horrible story! Why didn't the camera crew intervene?
