Default Porsche Boxster ($490) vs. Audi A5 ($470) leases .. what will u choose?

I saw the other day that Porsche has a special lease deal for a new Porsche Boxster for $490/month, while the Audi A5 lease is $470/month at my local dealer ... both with about the same downpayment of $3,500-$3,600.

Which would you choose ???

Well, figuring those are both come on's with low annual mileage (10,000 or less) and the fact that these may be poorly equipped, I would lean in the direction of a P car.

That said, the A5 is one sweet package, I hate making choices.

the fact that i see 20 boxters for every A5/S5 i see, would make me lean heavily towards the A5 (and thats my unbaised opinion since i am not an audi owner)

I would take the A5. The Boxter sucks a lot. In fact, I wouldn't get any Porsche unless it's the Cayman S or better. If you were talking abt a Cayman S vs S5 then the Cayman S for sure.

You need to decid what you will use it for, e.g., Boxster only has 2 seats, A5 can fit 4, golf clubs, some luggage, do want a cab or not? etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

IMHO Boxster is common, at least go for an S. Other than that the A5 - but I am biased. I thought about the same decision, for about 1/2 day.

i debated over the cayman s and s5 for the longest time and i am getting ready to place an order for the s5 now. I think 2 seats will be fun for a year or so then you will start to miss the extra space and seats for friends.

Wow... is that a nominal lease rate? That sounds really low. I heard that leases on the A5/S5 sucked, ... which is probably why there's not too many on the road still. The lease deals for the 3-series coupes were REALLY GOOD, and look at the volume of those cars on the road... heh.
