Default rotors

Why am I having problems with my rotors on my 2018 S4? I have 15,000 miles and I am on y 3 set of rotors.

What are the symptoms?

How do you know it is the rotors? Low/high speed vibration? Pulsing brake pedal? Because some shop says so?

The reason I ask is that there are some not so reputable shops out there who sell cheap rotors (and charge people premium prices) for them. Case is point, a good friend of mine took in his wife's BMW 335i XDrive to get a price quote for brakes. $1600.00 was what he was quoted. He was floored, and I was like I smell BULL$hit. They were charging him beau coup bucks for NAPA pads and rotors and then ripping him off on labor.

Long story short, he bought a very reputable brand kit from Rock Auto, and my son and I did the install for him, along with bleeding the brakes and adjusting his emergency brake. All told, he was out $450 for parts and he bought lunch and a bunch of bottled waters (and paid my son $150.00) so he was out a total of $600.00 instead of $1600.00.

If your rotors keep warping, you need to take a look at where they are manufactured. And what the warranty is on them.

And shouldn't the DEALER be replacing all this under warranty since this is a 2018?
