RS5 Shifter anyone?
europrice has a great looking RS5 DSG shifter **** that looks amazing compared to the stock one. But it requires you to "heat and twist the shift pin 90 degrees". Anyone done this or know how major a surgery this is?

I just came from an E60 M5 and that was one of the things I loved about the car. The shifter looked stubby and kinda weird at first but was perfectly sized. Very comfortable and natural for hand shifts and it stayed out of the way when not needed.
I've test driven some new BMW's and the new shifter they have in most all cars is terrible. It is WAY to high and big and you end up knocking the car into neutral reaching for the climate controls (did this about 5 times in a day with a 535xi loaner car before I sold my M5).
Others have said it but I wish we had more aftermarket options....
