unscheduled maintenance costs so far.
2010 S5 84K showing......
So far ive spent nearly 9K in the last 2 yrs for a ton of issues. All coil packs replaced, ignition sensor, speed sensor, replaced....walnut blasting for carbon buildup.....check engine light on over 6 times throughout a 3 month period.....brake pad assembly block cracked.....and now the epc light is on but fixed.
Getting sick of this car breaking down all the time.
Anyone with over 85k with same issues?

If you just picked this up 2 years ago, it seems that perhaps the previous owner dumped the car before addressing some known pending issues. $9k seems quite high unless you're getting everything done at a dealership? Being a 7+ year old car, I would suggest finding a suitable 2nd line / 2nd tier Audi servicing. The only time I ever went to a dealership was to have factory recall work done - for free. Other then that, dealerships are encouraged to upsell/oversell parts and maintenance. Were some of these expenses unnecessary? I ask this because many have also spent a lot of needless $$$ trying to correct symptoms arising from carbon build up only to find that all that was necessary was a good manual carbon cleaning.
Did you do your due diligence prior to purchase of your car using it's VIN number and researching all of the potential TSB's and recall data for it? And if so, did you check to see what if any of those TSB's were actually corrected/fixed prior to purchase or at the very least, queried about by the seller?
