I went on Audi's site and they offer 11 color choices (Non audi exclusive). Meanwhile BMW offers 15. Come on Audi, STEP IT UP!!!

11 for the A5 and 13 for the S5....and I don't like any of them but I have to pick one because I am not going to pay 2,500 more for another color

Not to keep beating a dead horse, but the audiusa.com 'build your audi' site gives this for S5 colors:

Brilliant Black
Brilliant Red
Ibis White
Ice Silver Metallic
Quartz Gray Metallic
Deep Sea Blue Pearl Effect
Meteor Gray Pearl Effect
Phantom Black Pearl Effect
Sprint Blue, Pearl Effect

For the A5, it looks like you get different results whether you use the configurator on the right (11 colors) or the configurator at the top (9 colors with Monza and Misano missing).

I agree with the original poster; the color scheme is BORING for the A5. While endless variations of silver and grey might be OK for a sedan, for a sport coupe more exciting colors should be offered.

Saw a Rust/Burnt Orange XJ-F the other day. Im thinking a Burnt Orange S5 with Black/Tuscan interior would look good.

A GREEN color and a royal blue color would be nice like the 2001 A4's used to have. Why Audi doesn't make some of these basic colors is beyond me
