10K/1 YR Maintenance - What's Your Numbers?
2018 S5
I just did my 10K - well for me 9K, 1 Year maintenance.
Looking at the SO I see the following:
Installed GE521671BDSP 5W40 Bulk Syntecoil Qty: 72. <-- I have this bad feeling that this is not the fancy "green" oil that the S5 requires???
Regardless, the real reason I am making this post is to compare these measured values to others after about a year:
Tread Depth ( I have the ContiSport Contact 5P's). 1/32nds:
LF: 7
RF: 8
LR: 9
RR: 9
I don't know what the read depth in 1/32nds was when they were new. They did rotate my tires as part of this service.
Brake Linings measured in mm's
LF: 9
RF: 9
LR: 9
RR: 9
Again I can't tell if this is normal or a lot of wear?
Anybody have any 10K/1YR numbers to compare against? Thanks!

Wrong oil! That's a VW spec 505/00 502/00 oil. The V6 in the S5 REQUIRES the newer 508/00 oil.
Take it back to the dealer and DEMAND they replace it. Show them the sticker on the hood that states which oil needs to be used and make sure they document in your records that the wrong oil was used just in case you run into any warranty issues down the road.

Ok, the dealer, after several hours of silence, did a my bad and agreed they screwed up. Going in next week to drain out the bad and refill with the correct oil.
Back to the 10K/1 yr numbers:
1) I did find on the Conti site that the starting # of 32nds for my tires is 9 so no rear wear to speak of but small, 1 or 2 32nd's, front wear. The rotation was a good idea.
2) Anybody have any idea on the starting break pad thickness?
Thanks everyone for your replies...

My S5SB will be a year old next month, however I only have about 6800 miles on it so far. Just took it in for the first service, as I may be doing a long road trip soon. I got a nail in the original right rear tire so the current one has about 1500 fewer miles on it.
Tread Depth (ContiSport Contact 5P's) in mm's:
LF: 9 (11/32")
RF: 9 (11/32")
LR: 8 (10/32")
RR: 9 (11/32")
The inspection sheet from the dealer lists the tire tread in mm's, but that would mean the original tread is more than 9/32"? Not sure if it's actually in 1/32".
Brake Linings measured in mm's:
LF: 8
RF: 8
LR: 8
RR: 8

Per Continental, original tread depth on Audi spec 255/35-ZR19 SP5s is 11/32.
