I'm getting tired of all the chrome at the front of the car, and looking for someone to black-out the grille and the rest of the chrome in the lower air intakes. But by painting over my current grille instead of buying another one, will this void my warranty with Audi?

Not unless the problem you hypothetically are making a warranty claim for was obviously caused by the modifications. The only issues I could see them giving you are hard time on would be issues relating directly to the trim pieces you alter or have painted (such as the distance sensors in the grill or front camera).
