Audi A5 sw1329 problem after update
Hello
I have been following the forum for a long time but I just registered today.
I have a problem, Audi A5 (VIN: WAUZZZF52J) 2018 model
Today I had an appointment with an Audi dealer to update MMI plus sw 1329. I paid 110 euros
I noticed the following errors:
Voice selection
Navigation is not active (as if it never was)
Bluetooth (can't connect to phone)
I'm going to Audi service again tomorrow
Does anyone have any advice? experiences
I'm very angry

I am surprised that you paid for an update. Did you go to an Audi dealer or an independent garage. Audi dealers won't update the software unless something is wrong and if something is wrong, the update is free. Besides now several people have upgraded to 1329 at home by themselves using the firmware files available.

I left the car properly
I got spoiled
what can I expect from the serviceman tomorrow?
I think they have to fix it!
I wanted a new sw because of the shortcomings:
subwoofer control in the menu
The sound was not very good
I asked if it could update? the serviceman said when he connects online then he will know everything
After a couple of hours they called me and said the sw was installed online

My only advice is to write down all the shortcomings and print two copies. Give one copy to the service advisor and let him/her know you expect them to be addressed. Keep the 2nd copy for yourself so you remember what to check before you leave the dealership. You can even ask the service advisor to walk you through the fixes.

I still cannot understand why you have been charged for this software update. The car should still be under warranty and if the dealer felt a software update was needed, it should have been done for free.
