This is great. When my trial ran out a few months ago these were the very basic/helpful features that I thought should have been free. I could understand paying for google etc. etc. but not using an app to lock my car.

The myAudi app has worked perfect for me. I haven't had any issues. I used the Valet alert when I dropped my car off for PPF/ceramic coating and again when I dropped it off for tint. I was alerted when I went outside the area and above the set speed limit as I forgot to turn it off when I picked up the vehicle. I've also locked the car remotely.
I've also had no issues sending addresses to the car from my phone. Now I do think getting to those addresses takes too many steps. About 6 if I'm remembering correctly but it works!

What do you get with Audi Connect in Canada on 2019 models? Do you get Google Earth? If so, do you need to pay for a data plan? The way my sales guy explained, I get 4 years or Audi Connect and there's a SIM card already in there and I'm not paying for any plan. But I know Google Earth wasn't offered in Canada in 2019. They mention Google Earth with "Audi Connect plus", whatever that is:

No, it's really been free since last year. There were threads about this in mid-2018 about them making it free, and it definitely worked after my subscription ran out in June. The old MMI Connect app had a bug where it only worked once after the app was launched and would fail each time after that until you relaunched the app, but it did work that one time. That isn't a problem with the new MyAudi app. They are adding more free features in March, but remote lock/unlock works today.

My biggest problem with the app is that I never was able to figure out how to make it work with my car

This is good news as they are the only features I use. Now if they would only add remote start, it would really be a useful app. Yes I know why they haven’t so far.......
