B9 S5 humming noise on cold start after parts changed
Hey guys,
I recently changed the stock trans mount and insert to 034s for a B9 S5.
I understand that the stiffer rubber on the mount would cause some NVH but in my case, it only happens on cold start and would go away once the rpm gauge settles down.
thoughts? Thanks.

No thoughts needed. Clearly the higher RPMs on startup cause resonance in the cabin through the mount that arent there at the lower RPMs when it settles down.

things sound different on a cold start. I have never once complained about the high idle or the increased noise, you should enjoy it as the owner of a performance vehicle. cheers!
