I broke my shark fin antenna of my S5 SB when I was pulling back to the garage and the door wasn't fully open. The antenna itself was fine, but the mount was broken, I learned the proper fix at the certified body shop will cost a fortune, so I opted for a glue fix :/ It now looks perfect, well sealed and just as new, xm radio is also fine, but I'm noticing wifi interruptions and GPS is not accurate on my phone and the car play navigation when I plug it in through car play (the mmi navigation is perfect, the inaccuracy is only on the phone once I plug it in, as soon as I unplug the phone the location gets fixed). My main question is, anyone knows if the wifi antenna is even a part of the shark fin module? Or is it me just being too obsessed? Second question, can the GPS antenna be improperly connected such that it shows inaccurate location only on the phone as soon as I plug it in? Many thanks!
