I just sent an email to the site admin about my PM access. For some reason, I do not have access and this is the reason you were not able to send me a PM.

you need to post so many times before you can send/receive PMs. I believe the number is ~5 posts.

I just want to thank JLoft for his help with the retrofit.

I successfully installed the Direct TPMS on my 2018 Audi S5 Prestige it is working flawlessly and it is great to be able to just look at the screen and able to tell tire pressure and temp.

To those who looked up the above suggested Kufatec option: I got in touch with Kufatec to confirm if their kit is 100% compatible with B9 S5 Coupe Prestige (US). Apparently it’s not. Their response is below.

We are sorry but according to your VIN the car is US specification. According to our Informations the car in US are using a different frequenzy as we have in EU and therefore this set is not suitable for your car.

Has anyone tried this kit from AliExpress

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3295...chweb201603_55

They seem legit and much cheaper than kufatec solution..

That Aliexpress kit will absolutely work and that price is fantastic. Just make sure you have VCDS to code things on your own. Also the coding instructions you will receive will require some understanding of what is actually required. And don't trust the colour coding of the wiring in the instructions - it often doesn't match with way the harness is wired.

Yes it does. But you need to use them as a rough guide and not follow them blindly.

Coding the ABS incorrectly is not great. Also the most important thing it to make sure the TPMS receiver is either a used one or properly parameterised. A brand new one wont work and cannot be parameterised using VCDS or ODBEleven.
