Default Easy Exit issue

I have an 2018 S5 Premium Plus. Using an OBD 11 I’ve coded several useful features including the easy exit feature. This works well with one exception. When a passenger also gets in the vehicle, the drivers seat will not return to the forward position when starting the car. Push the seat memory switch on the drivers door and it will move into the proper position. Thoughts?

Mine behaves the same way, I imagine it is because if it thinks there is a passenger behind the seat, possibly with their feet under it, it should be your responsibility to trigger movement of the seat. Then it's your fault if any injuries occur!

You can use the upper 'fast' seat move button after the passenger has got in but before you do and the seat will stop at the correct location, or as you say the door memory button (if fitted).
