Awful stock tires!! @Laguna
I did my best to add some wear to them... especially when I started having fun drifting out of turn 3 and 10.
I should have gotten an instructor, haven’t been on a track in over 15 years and that was all Thunderhill. Couldn’t nail that corkscrew line but it sure was a blast trying.
I love this car!

Re: Brakes (stock S sport package)
I think they are fine for casual track usage (lol if there's that), as I didn't get a hint of fade except once towards the end of one of the sessions. I could totally see them giving me more problems as I pick up more confidence, braking later and harder into turns. The sun eventually came out and gave me a nice farmer tan, but still wasn't hot enough... a more inland track and skilled driver probably would want to upgrade them. Something I'll probably consider if I decide to track it again. My friend in the B7 RS4 boiled his stock brakes by the end, he's a much faster driver than me. I didn't groove them as much as I did the first time I took the A6 out.
Tire Pressure
Started off with 38 (stock 42), then dropped down to 32 for the other three sessions. Much better after I dropped it. I was hesitant to play with tire pressure since my last reference point was years ago.
Looking at the pictures, there appears to be less body roll than I thought I felt behind the wheel. Definitely much more nimbler than the '01 A6 2.7T I last tracked, although surprisingly similar dimensions (surprised to find out the wheel base on the S5 is longer than the A6).
